This form-fill-seal machine can process carton blisters with a height of up to 65 mm, made of 100% cardboard (mono-material blister), even with sealed dust flaps. The HSA 50 automatically forms the pre-cut cartons, seals the dust flaps, forms and seals the inlay to fix the brushes (if required) and seals the front card before the finished products are ejected onto an outfeed conveyor.
The machine is also available for the production of so called “trapped blisters” in which a plastic blister shell is sandwiched in between two cardboard layers. In this case it is equipped with a thermo-forming station for the plastic shells.
